I believe the original Expert Rulebook mentioned that Threshold has a secret
minting operation.=A0 Halaran was a friend of the Duke, and since he is a
cleric, he would be the most trusted individual to protect such an operation
(The Duke can't trust his cousin for such an operation).=A0 So I have always
played the tough rules and laws in Threshold as precautions from meddling

yes. there is a secret mint there. IIRC it is a rather small and secret=20
operation ... probably a holdover from the early duchy days. over time it=20
should have grown a bit to reflect Karameikos's growing wealth. IIRC the onl=

folks that know about it are Stefan, Halaran, the mint operator(s), and a fe=
w=20
of the King's Elven Guardsmen.=20

load of technomancy ideas and What-not, as well as next month's Dragon,
being completely about Gnomes.. I'm in heaven, and can adapt and improvise
to make my fan-stuff easier to digest.>>

looks like i have one less excuse for delaying my Davanian P-Gnomes project.
i need to get cracking on that anyway.

Hey Giulio, I love this!  I always like stories that "tie things together" as
you've done here between Minotaurs and Bargda.  I tried to do something similar
with my lycanthropy article.  I think it makes the setting more real and a lot
more interesting.  Other than just saying, "Oh yeah, there's also this monster
called the bargda," you have provided an interesting and compelling story about
why that monster is on Mystara and where it came from.

Anyway I'm just drooling to get my hands on the rest of this story to see what
you've done with each of the other minotaur branches.  It also sounds like you
have some plans for Eritteus.  Have you worked up an adventure involving him?

Uhm, not really. But it's fun to think about a burning-alive minotaur that roams
Mystara. It's better than the tarrasque, isn't it?

HAHA ! The truth comes to light ! More than that, you confess your part in
this shananingan ! I always suspected you two were up to no good !Meddling
with none-the better dealings and queer shananingans !

proposition for a sanction has been granted - you never specified for

I'll add my comment to the pile - excellent work here, Guilio!  I wouldn't
mind seeing more of this sort of thing on the List, myself, as there are
quite a few loose ends that could be tied up.
