Hello. In D&D3e, the equipment costs are rather generic. However, I imagine that this is different from region to region. Perhaps some places steel can be rare, will iron or bronze is more common due to technology and minerals available. An example, would be one region could be rich in a paticular ore, but in other regions the technology of "smelting" would have to exist to sufficiently extract the ore, while in other regions the ore can be rare in any form. I would be curious would about the availability and price of equipment and gear in Thyatis, Karameikos, Darokin, Ylaruam, Rockhome, and Vestland, Soderfjord Jarldoms, and Ostland, as well as other regions. Also, this collected information can be good for trading merchants interested in flooding a market with goods and raw materials abundant in one region to another. Nope, who said Mystic is immune to slow using Mindblock? He's only only immune to spells and effects affecting DIRECTLY HIS MIND. period. > My book says "The mystic is immune to ESP, hold and slow spells, magical charms, quests, and geas spells." And also, when they list immunities for undead, they put slow under the "mind-affecting" category. ------------------------------ End of MYSTARA-L Digest - 8 May 2002 to 9 May 2002 (#2002-126) **************************************************************
