Can > anybody confirm this? for some reason I find it humorous to mentally picture someone walking up to Demo and checking between its legs. Or better yet send the old Croc Hunter in to check..."uhp...this one's a sheila". Anyway, given it's particular nature I see no reason why Demo could not alter its sex to suit a particular need. Gender roles get a bit blurry when dealing with fiends and their defilement of mankind. Maybe she "goes both ways" if you know what I mean. Remember that these are fiends and the ends justify the means. Also, a female is different from the typical male oriented Balor/Pit Fiend running the show. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Jun 2002 05:04:28 EDT From: Alex Benson Subject: Re: NWN Projects I got NWN in and have been playing around with the ToolSet some. I like Alex's ideas on this one. > > The second cult also involved a group of evil > > Traladaran monks revering a > > frog-like immortal in a monastery on the west bank > > of the Castellan > > (formerly Shrill) River. This could be Demogorgon, an Outer Being or something else. Whatever suits the DM. I placed Horror on the Hill on the Castellan River which the Traladarans used to call the Shrill River. > > Another cult was recently discovered in the Black > > Spires of Darokin in the > > Blizzard Pass. Again, yes and no. This is from M1 "Blizzard Pass" where a group of goblins worship a toad like immortal. Could this be Demogorgon, an Outer Being or something else? You decide. > > Commands all > > mortals, undead and a > > small number of lesser entropic immortals. > > Uh? What does "commands all mortals" mean? This is from the Immortals boxed set. I think it means all mortal followers of fiends, like the Hardanger Kobolds. Not 100% sure though. > > Alphaks is the creator of the Beholder race and is > > revered by these > > creatures. If not, could you give us more info > about this thing? Well it's pretty close to canon. M1 "Into the Maelstrom" mentions that the Garagantuan Beholders are Alphak's children. This does not necessarily mean that he created them, but I like that angle. As for the introduction to Mystara, that came from the Dragonlord series of noverls where the beholders were part of the Overlord's alien army that invaded Mystara. Once the Overlord was defeated, the Beholders became free-willed and scattered over Mystara. > > Lesser Fiends > > > > Bratnee of Bielagul, Black Mts foothills > > Where does this one come from? No real update, yet. I hope to manage to put all Geoff's stuff up some time in the next weeks, and to write something more myself. As you can see, the past three months have been very very busy in RW, and I didn't write ANYTHING for the list. Just posting this up in case anyone playing 3rd Edition hasnt already run into it. This is a damn useful utility. It automates nearly all aspects of 3rd Ed D&D. Not Mystara specific but easily customisable. Great for those of us her are planning to convert their Mystara campaigns to 3rd ed. http://www.roleplayingmaster.com Cheers Jason This e-mail and any attachment is for authorised use by the intended recipient(s) only.
