This seemed to be particularly true of evil types. Anyway, short of using immortality, can anyone think of a spell or some other magical means by which we could have this same effect in D&D? - Angelo - http://members.fortunecity.com/abertoll/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Jul 2002 22:59:43 -0600 From: Angelo Bertolli Subject: useful magic I know that it's more fun to have fireballs and invisibility, and haste spells in a combat-oriented game, but has it ever bothered anyone that Wizard magic is so geared towards combat ONLY? I mean wouldn't it make sense that spell casters (esp wizards) would be out making spells to make life easier, produce things, etc? If anyone is interested in compiling a "Practical Magic" document involving practical non-combat magic... email me at abertoll@hotmail.com with any ideas/spells you have. What I plan to do is get as many suggestions as possible and we can all vote on spell level, details, etc. before we put it together. - Angelo - http://members.fortunecity.com/abertoll/ ------------------------------ End of MYSTARA-L Digest - 27 Jul 2002 to 28 Jul 2002 (#2002-195) ****************************************************************
