Darth has made various suggestions on non-human monks but where could a human monk be from? I have not made up my mind if said monk will be a pure fighting monk, mostly fighting with some clerical ability, vice versa or a psionicist monk. Any suggestions which immortal a clerical monk would turn to? Any suggestions which immortal a clerical monk would turn to? In my campaign i use Monks of Koryis in the Isle of Dawn, Alphatia and Ochalea. Obviously, they are a pacifistic order and can fight only in self defense. They are fighting monks but can have clerical and psionic classes too. One of my players is one of them... There are monks in Glantri with no religious affiliation and, probably, religious orders of Monks in Ethengar and Sind, i think, maybe linked with the church of Ixion... In Ethengar and Sind could be even chaotic monks linked with the churches of Cretia and Thanatos... bye Francesco ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 15 Sep 2002 16:41:43 +0100 From: Paul George Dooley Subject: Re: Monks on Mystara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Knud Gentz" To: Sent: Sunday, September 15, 2002 4:10 PM Subject: [MYSTARA] Monks on Mystara > Hi all, > > one of my players wishes to play a monk and since I generally try not to > bar any choices for them I wonder how to bring one into the campaign. Any suggestions which immortal a clerical monk would turn to? Monks (called "Mystics" in 0e sources) are fairly common in the Known World region of Mystara and generally follow the same religious beliefs as their own people (thus, Ylari monks follow Eternal Truth, while Glantrian monks generally deny any sort of Immortal patronage). Known World nations whose gazetteers or equivalent material specifically mention mystics or monasteries include Ylaruam, Glantri, Minrothad, and Sind. A Master level adventure mentions Thothian mystics on the Isle of Dawn, and the account of the origin of Minrothad mystics in Gaz 9 suggests that some should also exist in Alphatia and its colonies. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Sep 2002 09:24:15 +0800 From: "Francisco V. But why would Zirchev have followers in Boldavia? And I'll have a good look at the Immortal humanoids. Rseearch Andrew's site. Kit ----- Original Message ----- From: To: "Francisco V.
