They have a 1 meg pdf preview posted and there are a few neat ideas about various cloud "types" in there that could be used for floating islands (or floating continents in the HW). While browsing the site I also found a few products relating to Raptors and T-Rex, and I thought that those might be useful for anyone wanting to flush out the carnifex some more. The Raptor resource is available now with the T-Rex resource coming out next month. Has anyone picked up this product and taken a look at it yet? I'd be curious to know what you think of it if you have. The link to Goodman Games is: http://www.goodman-games.com/products.php -John ===== Rule #85. I will not use any plan in which the final step is horribly complicated, e.g. "Align the 12 Stones of Power on the sacred altar then activate the medallion at the moment of total eclipse." Instead it will be more along the lines of "Push the button." from "A Guide to Becoming an Evil Overlord" by Peter Anspach __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The mountain is then turned over so the flat side is up, and the move mountain spell allows this new structure to levitate. once this is accomplished, the archwizard can begin constructing a city upon its smooth surface. The material components for this spell are a mythallar (which needs to be placed in the new city within two weeks), a magical device that allow flying or levitation, and a crystal ball. PS: to know more about mythallar, see netheril, empire of magic, page 139 maybe i'll post it tomorow if you are interested Thibault Sarlat. The various groups are basically connected to the various areas of Mystara. Not sure how many there are in all, but I'm currently a member of fifteen Yahoo!groups, though only seven of these are related to the MA... Mind you, to join a Yahoo!group you need to get a Yahoo!ID or you won't be able to upload or download files. Getting an ID is not a major problem, though, and doesn't require you to give out a lot of information... - The Stalker ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 20 Sep 2002 16:49:35 -0700 From: Ohad Shaham Subject: Back from the grave... I've been finding my thoughts returning to Mystara lately, and I've actually done some work on a related project (regretably not the rest of the Houses of Darkoin revisions, nor the Expanded Darokin Timeline, nor the long overdue revisions of the Underocean Timeline, nor any of the other myriad projects I've previously worked on). This new project promises to be rather large and interesting, tohugh it will likely be a while before you see much of it. In any case, the codename for this mysterious work is Project Aftermath (I'd give a working title instead, but I don't have one.) The main gist of the project is to create a total replacement for the post-Great War timeline, to fix what I see as flaws in the PWAs and the situation they assume exists in 1010 AC. Therefore, WotI occurs for the most part as detailed, but the PWAs do not. The type of changes I am planning are better illustrated than summarized, so with out further ado, here is a map of the Project Aftermath version of the Republic of Darokin as of Nuwmont 1, 1010 AC, one day after the end of the Great War, though it will be weeks before anyone realizes the war has ended. http://www.geocities.com/anowack/teaser.gif Aaron Nowack "Never let reality get in the way of a good hypothesis." http://www.geocities.com/anowack/ ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
