Really, each response was helpful. I now have a much clearer understanding of Mystara's products. Thanks! I think I am inclined to seek out GAZ1, GAZ3, and WotI. :> Regards. -- Michael Falconer "Because by fate even the gods are cast down, weep ye all with me." ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 5 Nov 2002 04:58:51 -0500 From: Falconer Subject: Re: Essential Reading I wrote: > I think I am inclined to seek out GAZ1, GAZ3, and WotI. :> Regards. Actually, I will also keep an eye out for the Hollow World Campaign Set and Dawn of the Emperors. Since Blackmoor is my primary area of interest, I bought the First Fantasy Campaign set and will keep an eye out for the DA modules as well. I have seen at least 4 copies of X1 at local stores. Maybe I'll pick that up, too. Anyway, thanks again. Well now I found the problem, and so I have some time to get back into Mystara and read the DragonLord series. I love the Blackmoor site (http://www.geocities.com/havardfaa/blackmoor.html). Really great stuff. A while ago, I created a list of Thyatian names and Traladaran names. I could repost these if people like. I also want to contribute with 3E stuff. Has anyone check out D&D3E MMII? It has many Mystaran monsters, though with generic descriptions and no mention of Mystara. I was thinking of grabbing one, but it's really hefty price of $30 is a big turn off. Plus, I hate accumulating too many books. Things need to go PDF especially in this day and age. -- Joaquin PS - I now added a central server, which is great as I can use both my Mac and PC, instead of my old hodgepodge of incompatible machines dating all the way back to the Amiga. I recovered some lost Mystaran archives that I created. \(^).(^)/ __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Here is the link: Yes, I had a look at it while answering your question. BTW, would you elaborate on the dungeon's setting you're going to adopt? It would be interesting to see what comes out of it. While we are on the subject of dungeons, what would be the main "classical" dungeons in Mystara--the kind of dungeons several groups of adventurers could explore without severely altering the environment (i.e., cleaning the dungeon)? I'd guess the Barimoor complexes and the Gnome-Kobold settlements in Soderfjord... -- Giampaolo Agosta http://digilander.iol.it/agathokles ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.dnd.starflung.com/ To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ End of MYSTARA-L Digest - 4 Nov 2002 to 5 Nov 2002 (#2002-288) **************************************************************
