A couple questions for a NWN module I am doing. The answers are in PWA1 which I unfortunately cannot find at the moment (past week actually). The answers should be in the Eadrin atlas section or possibly the distinguished dead and NPC descriptions. The Alphatian Kingdom of Eadrin. After Wrath Idon II became king. Who was the pre-Wrath monarch (queen iirc)? Also, what was Idon II's segway onto the throne? IIRC he was a general or something and was hunting to the north and escaped the destruction. I am unsure if he was related to the queen. Any help would be appreciated. And Happy Holidays all. Keep it a safe holiday week. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Dec 2002 22:20:37 UT From: Gottfried Neuner Subject: Traladaran Names Traladaran Names by Gottfried Neuner My first mail... Idon II was the widower of Queen Eadra XIII, who was killed by the initial shockwave from the sinking of Alphatia. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Dec 2002 21:11:20 -0800 From: Darth Darknerd Subject: Re: B6: Theosius, the sculpter > 3) Many of those skill bonuses are way too high. > For class > skills, the maximum bonus is 10 (for skill ranks) +2 > (for Skill > Focus feat, if applicable) + ability score modifier. > > 4) Once you get the skill bonuses down to a > reasonable figure, > check the total skill points. Your awesome. I was searching for the maximum rank that a character could have. I know there is a maximum, but I couldn't find it in the rules. I thought the max was 4 ranks at first + 2 ranks per level (1/2 that for cross-class skills). Thus I thought a 7th lvel Expert would have a max of 16 (2 ranks x 6 level, +4 ranks for first) + Ability bonus + Feat Bonus. I didn't know that there was a maximum cap for skills. Thanx. I really like that this idea. For now, I am going to keep him vanilla. Another person pointed out that his level might not be really 15th in 3E. I need to find a conversion for it. - Joaquin __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. I imagine the majority of halflings would be in Specularuam, but I'm way off the marker. I need to change the halflings most definately. I also thought that there would be some dwarves from not just the Stronghollow clan, but other merchants (Fortress Island, Rockhome), and perhaps the gnomes as well (Honor Island, and that flying city whose name starts with an S). IMC, I have way more dwarves and gnomes (especially gnomes underground nation). But for this, I want to home into the more cannon material. I got to lower the percentages. > From the tables in K:KoA, there is a 25% chance of > any elf (85% Callarii, 15% Vyalia or other in > K:KoA, or 95% Callarii and 5% Vyalia in Gaz 1) > coming from a human community. Actually, this would be stats for a AC1000 era. I'm glad my first try came close. :-) > For the humans, note that the inhabitants of > Specularum tend to be wealthy and of higher social > rank, thereby skewing the overall distribution in > favor of Thyatians at the expense of Traladarans. I concur with you. I notice that later. There should be more Thyatians that the normal slant. > I would thus distribute the population as follows: > > Human: 92% (Thyatian 25%, Traladaran 45%, Mixed > 28%, Other 2%) > Elf: 7% (Callarii 95%, Vyalia 4%, Other 1%) > Other: 1% (Dwarf, Gnome, and Halfling) Given that this is circa 1000AD, would there be a lot of humans in the mixed category? What would you have for post WotI and what would you have for c. 1000AD? thanx, Joaquin __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
