The list has been quiet for a few days so I thought I would send Thib a message asking him if his maps for Davina or Skothar at 24 miles per hex were ready. I have printed up a copy of his Brun map at 24 miles per hex and it takes up one of my bedroom walls! My wife thinks I am crazy! LOL :) Mulitzar the Mage _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Mar 2002 18:08:21 -0800 From: The Stalker Subject: Forgotten Realms on TV ?!? No, I kid you not: I suppose this means we can now look forward to cheesy "swordplay and magic" fun-fun time on tv, thus waving goodbye to any chance of ever having people achieve any sort of respect for D&D or role-players in general. As if the D&D movie wasn't bad enough. Yawn :( Don't get me wrong - I certainly hope for the best, but with FR in the focus, I find the idea of holding my breath pretty close to suffocating... Hopefully I'll be very wrong - I hate it when I'm right. - The Stalker ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Mar 2002 21:22:16 -0500 From: Gilles Leblanc Subject: Re: Thib's Maps of Mystara > Hi everyone! Well, with R.A. Salvator writing the pilot, maybe it won't be as bad as it could be in my mind! Hell, if the story centers around Drizzt it could be real good! Someday, when I have a digital camera, I will email a pic of it to anyone who is interested. I want to eventually make a full world map at 24 miles per hex on my wall. As I am typing this my wife looked over my shoulder...and shook her head. Im not sure if anyone here knows this but most of the people on the FR email list dont like the fact that Salvator will be backing the show up. They say he dosent have a good grasp of the FR setting. --- Stone Marshall wrote: > Well, with R.A. Salvator writing the pilot, maybe it > won't be as bad as it > could be in my mind! Hmm, only about $150CDN. ;-) Oh, that's right, I need to eat this month.
