MML, The WoTI boxed set seems to conflict with information stated in GAZ13: The Shadow Elves. In WoTI:Book Two (p.7) it states that an Old One had altered the NoS to be able to grant immortality "to those who fully mastered it secrets..." However GAZ13 says that it was the Immortals of the Sphere of Energy and not the Old Ones (p.9) who had altered the NoS to be able to sponsor Immortals of the Sphere of Energy.. Afterwards, the other Spheres had connived to put the magic drain "curse" on Mystara.. Does anyone know which was the intended "correct" explanation of the origins of the NoS/Radiance? I am kinda leaning towards WoTI superseding GAZ13 since the former did come out after the latter.. Any ideas? Thanks! Lancer --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Not much to add aside from the subject header. Pre-ordered it from my friend Brian Johnson, who runs Khepri Comics (http://www.khepri.com). If you pre-order from him, through the 15th of this month, you get 30% off your order. ) I know some of you ordered from him before a couple years back, when I posted a deal he had on going out of print gaming items, so I just thought I'd let any of you Mystara-philes know about this deal. Hope I'm not breaking any rules by advertising his site (I don't get anything out of it, really, except maybe helping a buddy out. I'm really looking forward to this, James. You'd better not disappoint, or else. ;) (BTW- mostly OT, but I've actually been impressed with some of the 3E Forgotten Realms stuff out there. I've never been a big FR fan, and stopped reading the novels yeears ago, because they were just bad, but I picked up a couple of the supplements recently. Races of Faerun is very good, and is the way I'd love to see a Mystaran treatment done- despite my distaste for sub-races. And Unapproachable East is excellent. A good blend of game info and descriptive gaz-like info (though I wish there'd been more gaz info... even though there is a lot). Mostly, though, I like how the prestige classes, etc. are actually given campaign background, and aren't just "generic" PCs, like "giant-killer", "mage-slayer", "nose-picker", etc. They are actually campaign oriented, again, like I'd love to see in a Mystaran supplement). That's it from me... ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Jun 2003 07:51:37 +0200 From: Erewan Laubgaenger Subject: Rolemaster hello together me not still back, but me has some time, that ich will spend to the list, but i have to read a lot mails that are still in my mailbox. i want to master a mystara campain. me likes the world, in special glantri & karameikos. but i want to use the rolemaster roleplaying system by ICE. does someone done it before?` there ist al lot of work to convert the ad&d / d&d NPCs to rolemaster. in special glantri, u have a lot of mages that could become magicans, sorcceres, wizards and so on. so i look for someon that uses also rolemaster als standartrules for mystara campains. is there someone?
