It turns = out that we had so many cool ideas that at the end of the project and layout, we over wrote by nearly 31,000 words on the sourcebook. I chalk that up to newbie mistakes, but also a desire to make a great product and revitalize a really cool world. A bunch of stuff had to be trimmed or cut down, but will be made available at a later time. What I need to know from the hardcore Blackmoor fans is this=85 Which of the infamous Rogues Regents and Rascals would you most like to see in the book. I will use the information presented by posters to decide which NPCs will get into the first book. Everyone will eventually be available, but I thought that this would be a nice way to get some input from fans and see what you guys would like to have first. Let me know quick, deadlines are looming. :) Dustin -- Dustin Clingman Zeitgeist Games, Inc. www.zeitgeistgames.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Jun 2003 20:25:11 +0200 From: Bertrand Lhoyez Subject: Darokin trade maps for north serpent peninsula hello i've finished (nearly, let's say 90 % - still have the mileage, raiders activities and minor corrections to do), my first map for expanding the vision that a darokin trader (or his rival) can have on trade beyond Akesoli. i'm contemplating, after finishing the south part of the peninsula, making the same kind of props for the savage coast (i'm actually beginning a campaign in Slagovich with a bunch of minrothians in seek of fortune), but it's more work than i thought at the beginning. u can see the result here http://blhoyez.free.fr/d&d/commerce-serpentpeninsula-.html be a little patient, the image weigh around 400 ko i'd like to have some input / critics from those of u who feel concerned. for making this map, i've used Gaz 11, 1011 almanach map, champion of mystara explorer booklet, and a few other infos caught here and there in text from Dragon, ... i still have to determine more precisely what ressources those town from the north serpent peninsula / Hule / Sind / ... can trade (logically) i also appreciate any comments waiting to read u <<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>> for your convenience, i list you what i imagine : ------ Basic things From Darokin gazetter Precious merchandise Mounts Wood precious Porcelain fine Books rare Armor Ivory Spices Silk Furs, rare Metals Gems Trade goods Wood common Oil Salt Beer, Ale Grain & vegetables Fish preserved Hides, furs Tea or coffee Animals Pottery Wine ,spirits Meat, preserved Metals common Dye & pigments Cloth weapons, tools Monsters Glassware Semiprecious stones Tobacco --------------------------------- Sind / Hule / City-states & co town ressources list Khamrati sell high : meat preserved, tools sell low : salt, wood common Jaibul sell high : Metal common, dyes, coffee sell low: Mounts (camels), glassware, wood common Jahore sell high : oil, pottery, porcelaine fine sell low : wine, animals, textiles Naral sell high : Wood precious, cloth sell low : metal common, grain Syr Ulan sell high : salt, spices, rare books sell low : wood common, tea, fish preserved Baratpur : sell high : grain, meat preserved sell low : cloth, glassware Karakandar sell high : textiles, animals, meat preserved sell low : tea, metal precious, gems Slagovich sell high : weapons, meat preserved, grain sell low : fish preserved, metal precious, salt Magden sell high : weapons, armor, Semiprecious stones sell low : mounts, dyes, animals Khuur sell high : beer, metal common sell low : tobacco, wood common Azurun sell high : weapons, gems, wine sell low : wood common, grain, oil Jehrom sell high : salt, metal common sell low : meat preserved, grain Kladanovic sell high : wine, metal common, beer sell low : meat preserved, grain, spices Tyjaret sell high : metal common, animals, wood common sell low : grain, fish preserved, oil Angorit sell high : tools (weapons), glasswares, tobacco sell low : meat preserved, wood precious, fish preserved ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Jun 2003 20:44:07 +0000 From: Giampaolo Agosta Subject: Re: Info, update and some udder stuff Dustin Clingman wrote: > Hey everyone, Hi. > know from the hardcore Blackmoor fans is this...
