The people were several that responded to the "casting call" that was listed on their message boards (and was posted here, which is where I first saw it- I think it was Geoff that fired up the Bat signal on that one). That was about a month ago, so no idea whether they chose someone(s) and let them know yet or not. > Aaron Allston replied to my email when I asked whether he might be interested in contacting Kenzer. He said that his schedule would probably preclude him from being able to get involved, but he didn't entirely rule it out. Someone else was going to try to email Bruse Heard to see if he might be interested. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Oct 2003 15:24:30 +0200 From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Havard=20Faanes?= Subject: Re: Hackmaster for free? I emailed Bruce about it, to his ambreville adress IIRC, but I never got a reply. The MA series continued this plot thread with the loss of Oceansend (and many other Norwold territories gained by the Knights - but not the area around Landfall, which remained under Heldannic rule) when the Order temporarily fell out of Vanya's favour. Many of those lands were subsequently regained after the Knights' powers returned to them, including Oceansend. The Order's grip on southern Norwold (thereafter named "Heldland") was tenuous, and weakened with the civil war. As of AC 1018 (if we are following the MA timeline), the faction that controlled Heldland withdrew from Oceansend to concentrate its forces further south, as the former city-state had proved to be a considerable drain on the Order's resources, with relatively little payoff.
