Hi All,

I'm currently running a 3.5e DnD Karameikos campaign. I'm about to start a Hollow World campaign using the same rules, but don't tell my players :)

I am running an on-and off type campaign with 3e set in Darokin. I don't have the money to buy all the 3.5 books when there is so much else to spend your money on, so im stuck with 3.0 for now. My 6 year old Karameikos campaign is still going strong, but nearing its completion. I started out using GURPS, but later converted i to MasterBook. However, when the campaign ends, possibly next week I hope to persuade that group to let me run a 3e Freeport campaign for them, theoretically set on Mystara... I feel I'm spending less brainpower on mechanical processing, leaving more GM brain free to think up plot complications and spend on the story details. Characters received notification of a "legacy" from an exiled Wizard-Prince their grandparents had helped, traveled across half of Darokin to show up for reading of will (frugally working as caravan guards escorting pottery, uncovering *** gasp! *** insurance fraud!, avoiding reunion with estranged relatives, practicing trade, drinking up profits, and arriving in town just as some set fire to the lawyer's house they were to go to. They did find that there were factions from both Glantri wizards and Darokin clerics that wanted to kill the wizard they were to inherit to. They haven't quite found out just what he've done to upset a long list of diverse enemies. Mercie's Auction House has been a useful resource. http://www.xs4all.nl/~enee/ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 30 Oct 2003 11:23:41 -0800 From: Joe Kelly Subject: What would happen?
