I have never taken much interest in Od&dities up til now because I abandoned OD&D a long time ago. However, I am really impressed with what this fanzine has grown into. I love the Old Dungeon Magazine-style layout, and many articles are quite interesting even to a non OD&D-player. This issues interview with mr. Gygax was very interesting and I especially took an interest in the section where he commented upon his relations with Dave Arneson... What I'd like to see more of is more Mystara stuff ofcourse or at least notes as to how to fit this and that into Mystara. I know that you are trying to cover all aspects of OD&D, and I dont mind some non mystara stuff, but especially with the adventures, a Mystara tie-in is nice. Keep up the good work :) (Obligatory, but deserved) Håvard --- Richard Tongue skrev: > Well, it's finally here. OD&DITIES Issue 9 is now > avaliable for download at > http://www.tongue.fsnet.co.uk ! Hi All, I'm sure I could find it somewhere if I dig through all of my books, but I thought I'd ask here in case someone knows off the top of their head. When was the NoS moved to its current location underneath Glantri City? The event is not listed directly in Gaz 3's timeline, although it might be somewhere in Gaz 3 itself. It has to be some time after BC 3000 (the GRoF) and AC 395 (when the Flaems discover it). Can anyone help out? -John ===== Rule #85. From WotI Book 2 it can be = gathered that it happened "thousands of years" before Noumena discovered = and tampered with it. It could have happened anytime between BC 4000 = (when the Beagle was destroyed; this was way before the GRoF) and ~BC = 1500, I suppose (depending on whether the Flaemish were "nudged" by = Noumena to move to the area, or that they moved there long after Noumena = tampered with the NoS). I don't know if any other source gives a more precise time to either = event. I'll skim Gaz 3 over again and see if I can find a definite time or not, but that was basically what I thought. I'm working on a Mystara BC 2300 campaign setting and one of the ideas I was trying to work out was why the dwarves moved into the KW region around that time. What I want to do is have them drawn to sources of the radiance. They'll get to be big time radiance spellcasters (these are pre-Kagyar dwarves we're talking about) which is going to be one of the reasons that the race is steadily dying out. Traces of the radiance using culture will eventually evolve into what we know today as the Mordrigswerg. ===== Rule #85.
