He might qualify as a ranger/rogue, but not as a bard. Really, if there were a version of the monk class which reflected various skills picked up "on the streets," that might come ever closer. Honestly, I just threw in the 3E class for chuckles. I detest Third Edition and try to avoid using it whenever possible. Last January, I bought the Weathermaster program and I'm pretty impressed with it. In the set up, I can get the program to figure out the phases of the moon. I was thinking that it would be neat to have some magical affects happen when Matera and Patera are both full at the same time. Matera is full every 28 days but nothing is said about Patera. Has anybody done up moon phases for Patera? Oh yeah, I do know that Patera is invisible but I thought it would make for some interesting events. Thanks, The Northern DM ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Apr 2003 23:25:22 -0500 From: Dan Eustace Subject: Re: The Moons of Mystara Can you give us some details on Weathermaster? Some other weather programs have been discussed here recently, so I'd like to see how others compare. Have you done the 2 moon thing with it? ----- Original Message ----- From: "The Blacklocks" To: Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 10:06 PM Subject: [MYSTARA] The Moons of Mystara > Hello All, > > I'm back to the list after a years leave of absence (school and work) and > I'm about to restart my Mystara campaign. Weathermaster showed me the phases of both moons every day. Thus when both were full, I knew. I was also able to print out a calender that had this information so I could plan the evil wizard's sacrifice schedule (they are always done on the nights of new moon, some sort of evil wizard thing). I have found Weathermaster to be a very powerful and useful program. I highly recommend it.
