The participants are Mystaran Immortals, and the plot centers around a mysterious, inexplicable artifact that's simply appeared in the Central Dome of Pandius. The questions I have for you: 1. Does this seem interesting? Like a good idea? Is there anybody interested in being part of an early run of the game (probably handled via IRC or a similar online format)? Anyone interested in taking a somewhat- or mostly-refined writeup of the game and character backgrounds and running it at their local con? 2. What Immortals would you want to see available? I've already got a 'short list' of what I consider to be the most popular Immortals to plot character design for and weave into the story, but does anyone want to shout out for their favorite Immortal? 3. What should Immortals be able to *do*? I've got a decent mechanic for direct combat between Immortals, an *idea* of how to handle indirect plottting and intrigue (as a game mechanic, not just intraplayer bargaining), and I'm thinking about some way for Immortals to direct mortal forces on Mystara as well. Any opinions on what Immortals should be able to do, or be limited from doing? 4. Any interest in seeing an overall LARPing system, with the possibility of multiple plots/storylines contributed by different people? Or should I just tackle this as a one-shot? Never used Orkut. Well, I'm more a merger than a divider. I think that such a community should exist, but only to bring people to this one. For instance, I created a "mystarabrasil@yahoogroups.com", but only for 2 reasons: 1) find Brazilian people in order to exchange material and experiences; 2) find Brazilian people in order to bring them here. > Back lurking... What bout the 2 other ones? Never used Orkut. To join Orkut you need an invitation of some1 inside. I will invite to you. If some1 else wanna try ask privately. But you are warned, Porphy has already joined! > Well, I'm more a merger than a divider. I think that such a community > should exist, but only to bring people to this one. I fully agree with you. IN fact in the communitie description I clearly specify the official Mystara page and I recommend people to join the MML. What's is good in Orkut is that i'ts useful to track related communities and friends.
