Your help in keeping the Vaults and the other two sites alive is much appreciated. I think these sites are extremely useful in keeping Mystara alive. I like the hub page aswell. It is cool having page linking all of these three "official" sites together. One suggestion: Perhaps you could make a "community" section on the hub site aswell, with links to places for discussing Mystara. Like the MML, the 3e-group, the MMB and perhaps even the ZGG forums? These sites could be added to the links section I suppose, but making a separate section for these links would help newcomers find their way to these mailinglists and forums. :) Anyways, the site looks great :) By the way, I tried adding a link to my Blackmoor site to the links section a few days ago. Is it simply waiting for approval or did I mess it up? :) Håvard --- Jennifer Merrifield skrev: > Like the Vaults, and the Mystaran "Net" Almanacs, > the Mystara 3E web > site has also moved from the servers generously > hosted by Gordon > McCormick for the past several years to the web > server my husband and I > host out of our home. You are right, some of the immortals, upon finding that their followers and pet projects had been utterly wiped out may have been disappointed and abandoned Mystara for other places. Others, as you point out, could have been convinced that they hadn't done enough. Or might simply find themselves more involved trying to help the survivors of the Cataclysm. A third group was probably happy about all the destruction, or a bit grumpy that they hadn't come up with the idea themselves (Entropics, this group). Now, another theory of mine is that in order not to fade, the Immortals must have followers on the Prime Plane. Followers on other planes (inner, outer) can be useful, but if only the ones on Prime provide sufficient power to keep an Immortal from fading. WotI does not specify this, but I recommend this modification because it helps explain why Prime is important to the Immortals. The Immortals who were discouraged by the GRoF might still have abandoned Mystara for other places on Prime, or just have focused on minor areas on Davania or in the Hollow World. I'd be interested in developing cultures formed around the worship of these Immortals who once were of greatness, but now have been reduced to minor importance, at least on Mystara. The Immortals who did survive, however, such as Ordana, Odin, Khoronus and Terra ofcourse, became more involved and found ways to help their followers. Odin for instance, helped the Skandaharians who by now had become completely dependent on high technology, to return to their old ways thus forming the Antalians. Ixion(Tubak) and Terra (Yamunga) guided the Peshwa towards modern day Ethengar. Whether or not Zugzul did the same for the Afridhi, if there were any of them left, is yet to be revealed. It would be interesting if he did though. Father of druidism and the dualistic nature in Mystara. (from my post on the Carnuilh) He was an immortal that transcended twice. Other immortals believe at his full height as the Full Hierarch in Matter, he becomes an Old One. It may be so, but IMC he saved Mystara from the Blackmoor Destruction. If he was an Old One before this, he may have been punished and sent back as a mortal in 5 pieces, or his sacrifice to Mystara was that he descended from immortality into five pieces. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 8 Oct 2004 01:22:40 -0400 From: Donald Eric Kesler Subject: Stronghollow Dwarves Hello All, I was just wondering if anyone has worked up anything on the timeline for the Dwarves of Karameikos? When did they arrive in the Traladaran lands? Why did they leave Rockhome? Do they have a forge of power? Why did they decide to live with the Highforge Gnomes? Obviously, the Gnomes arrived first. Otherwise, the place would be called Stronghollow.
