Certainly the fact that the Known World is not a Middle Age, but rather a Classical/Renaissance setting must be stressed. Also the peculiarities of KW religions and demihuman societies should not be discounted. I can only hope that someone finds the time and will to write the introduction to the newbie guide -- one of the few remaining tasks, since the nation entries are almost all written and edited. Though I would *severely* limit most of the heavy-duty feats that the Warforged can use, and make sure that the numbers of Warforged are, altogether, rather limited at this point in history. I would, tongue firmly planted in cheek, propose that the first wizard to develop the Warforged was Droidekos Golemcraefter, and therefore the Warforged are nicknamed "droids" after their Maker (and he is the Maker that they all swear by, though whether he has arisen as an Immortal is questionable to non-Warforged). Maybe make some sub-races of these "droids." The droids of the dwarves are stumpy, have several methods to move aroughd (including flight), and are quite useful when it comes to controlling steamtech, especially those of the enemy. University droids are designed for academics, and can speak many, many languages... they are also shiny and very humanlike, the better to impress the locals and assuage their fears. The University has also adapted several dwarven droids, due to their ability to interact with steamtech and perform higher mathmatical functions... these thay call "astrodroids" as they are used by astrologers, to assist with their great telescopes and horo scope calculations. And so forth... :) --------------------------------- Discover Yahoo! Have fun online with music videos, cool games, IM & more. Good idea Warforged would seem to fit in - Eberron's odd tech could well match up with Blackmoors dwarven clockwork lso, its a set of ready prepared rules about how the things work, which is an advantage :-) Jon ----- Original Message ----- From: "Havard Faanes" To: Sent: Wednesday, June 15, 2005 1:40 PM Subject: [MYSTARA] Warforged in Blackmoor? > Hi, > I am considering using Eberron's Warforged in > Blackmoor, and I am curious to what you think.
