Hi, the only problem with the guerilla actions against the Nomad supply lines, is the overwhelming number of Nomad troops in the area. After taking those cities, the entire countryside of eastern Darokin should be swarming w. Nomads troops and encampments. Supply lines of isolated units that are over extended could be cut, but IIRC from running this many years ago, the Nomads start out with a significant numerical advantage vs. Darokin. If allies are not gathered early on, then the Nomads should be able to fortify the areas they have taken w/o worrying about resistance behind the frontlines. Any populace that hasn't fled as refugees should be kept in check by the humanoids, trolls, and whatever else the Master has working for him. The invasion starts as a surprise attack, and Darokin's forces need to rally to defend the heartland. The Master should be be able to take and hold everything east of the Streel w/o supply issues. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Hofmann" To: Sent: Wednesday, August 31, 2005 4:46 PM Subject: Re: [MYSTARA] Winter War still? > I would think that, without having a map of Darokin in front of me, that the > nomads' supply lines would still be extremely vulnerable and that Darokinian > "special forces" could probably wage a pretty effect campaign of trapping > the nomads in western Darokin and then laying some "scorched earth" smack > down. > > It would seem to me that targets such as logicistal experts would be the > ones selected for neutralization missions.
