Also, there would be little point in leaving Asterius behind as guardian, since actually 80% of the Immortals never left. OTOH, the idea that Thanatos might have used the Rad-Ixion quarrel to his advantage and sent them back in time (probably to the GRoF) to look for some element that could help them solve the Radiance issue is certainly interesting. I think this could justify a mission by all Immortals, as WotI is a major issue that would certainly warrant the attention of all but the most aloof Immortals.
