Yeah, these were the ones I was thinking about! CC2 is not my favorite when it comes to making maps of bigger areas, but these city maps look real nice. Wonder if they are hard to make. It would be cool to have maps like that of all major Mystaran cities..... I'm pretty sure it is "King" Stefan, not the ArchDuke. Håvard ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Apr 2005 16:34:01 +0200 From: Havard Faanes Subject: Baron Yuschiev Okay, searching through the files for *Baron Yuschiev* (Actually much easier when I finally got the spelling right), I found some info: stats can be found here: http://www.mystaranet.jamm.com/vaults/html/yuschiev.html And from the 1015 Almanac: "Rugalov is the newest barony and the first with a Traladaran Baron. Baron Yuschiev is currently settling his land with only Traladarans and discouraging all Thyatians from even visiting." Also, according to a timeline by Estlor (might be independent of the Alamanac), Yuschiev becomes a Baron in 1015. I actually thought Yuchiev's barony was far from Rugalov, but it has been a while since I read the novel.... Of course, being rather unlikely that he inherited a Barony. However, he should have received his lands after the K:KoA time, since he isn't mentioned there, AFAIK. > Not sure what the Almanac did with these events.... IIRC, they had some related events. > I'm pretty sure it is "King" Stefan, not the ArchDuke. That's good. Yes, 1015 may be acceptable, even though it's a bit too early, since Yuschiev isn't even a Landed Lord in 1012 (K:KoA). We may assume that he is named Landed Lord or Landed Knight that very year, then promoted to Baron in less than three years. This seems to me too much. Moreover, it's odd that Stefan would support so strongly such an anti-Thyatian character. What does the novel say to this end?
