And it really took painfully great amount of time (a long time ago, when I was under 30). Now, with more practice of the program (Dungeon Crafter), i could go a little faster. But as for the exterior maps, well, I have neither the program nor the practice.... I am just an hexagonal map lunatic !! thib --- Havard Faanes wrote: > I'm enjoying the maps of module locations on Thibs > site here: > http://www.mystara.addr.com/maps/modules/modules.htm > > Any chance we'll be seeing more such maps soon? As in my previous post, I'm trying to find a suitable location for Karawenn: Karawenn appears to be a collection of two (or more) kingdoms. Bedford and Vanderthan are the only two known ones, each ruled by its own monarch, both subject to the High King. The map in Pawns Prevail covers an area of about 120(east-west) by 200 (north-south) miles, along a southern coast, bordering to what is labelled the Great Sea. My current theory is that the Great Sea could be the Great Bay of Norwold; Karawenn being located just to the west of the Duchy of Draken. Their culture is pretty much a standard fantasy one, though they worship Immortals and are familiar with the Spheres of Power. Dwarves and Halflings also live in the region, and Trolls have been a common threat in the past. Comments? Interesting? Useless? I have only flipped through the Dread Hold article, but it looked like one of the most interesting parts of the issue, other than the VotPA one. Perhaps due to the Princess Ark story, or perhaps of other reasons, my first thought was that this would be the kind of prison the Alphatians would have. In fact, I think there are alot of things from Eberron that are transferable to Alphatia... Well, the basis for Eberron is a world where magic is commonplace. Things like the Alphatian wandsmen would fit right into Eberron. I also think the Shifter race would work very well there, since at least according to PC4, there is some connection between the Alphatians and Lycanthropy. Also, how they relate to the deities/Immortals, and planes would work well with Alphatia IMO. The main difference is that Eberron is a wartorn setting, which Alphatia isn't. Also, I dont think the Warforged or the Lightning Rail would fit in there, plus they are so connected to Eberron it would just feel wrong to include them IMO. Håvard --- Joe Kelly skrev: > Really?
