My main reservation in getting involved with anyone else's work is that I'm, well, kinda flaky. I'd be more than happy to try to create artwork for others, but I wouldn't want them counting on me to get it done in a timely manner (if at all). Right now, I work on stuff at my whim - and also according to what's a priority for my own campaign (which will be starting up again sometime after the first of the year). That way no one's disappointed if I don't finish something... except maybe my players - but then, they'll get over it. 8p Another thing to keep in mind is that I'm not much of an "artist". I can hardly take credit for the quality of work I've posted here; it's kinda like dressing dolls (in cyberspace). My main contribution has been money and time: a couple thousand dollars for programs/content and hundreds of hours to learn/experiment. Honestly, I'm still a novice at this stuff. I bring all this up to show that I'm pretty limited in what I can create. I'm nowhere near being able to actually create clothing/props from scratch, so if it ain't already out there, it ain't going into my renders... All that said, if someone has a request for something, let me know... just don't get your hopes up. 8p -Damon aka Brendan Corliss Corliss Enterprises, Ltd. I thought the spelltouched thing was cool but wasn't sure how practical it would be. I think that's an awesome use for it. On a bit of a tangent, I gotta say that I've had a real love/hate relationship with that book. Lots of interesting ideas, but I get the feeling they didn't play-test it much. For what it's worth, here's my feedback on two things we used IMC: 1-Gestalt characters: BAD. Do not use these. Seriously. Even without munchkin/power gamers in your group, this concept is WAY too powerful. Everything becomes an arms race in an attempt to make any encounter even mildly stimulating for the players. 2-Bloodlines: so far so good. One of my players has a Thyatian/Alphatian wizard with a Djinn bloodline. The only thing is, he doesn't know it - the Djinn part. He wanted a bloodline but didn't want to know the source until higher level. This concept is probably only suitable for veteran players since there's a lot of trade-offs involved and if you don't get into the role-playing side of your character it will likely just be frustrating. Fortunately, Jim is an excellent player and is up for just about any role-playing challenge. No surprise there; he's also the DM in the Greyhawk campaign I'm currently playing in. Go figure. Anyone else have any experience with the optional stuff form UA? -Damon aka Brendan Corliss Corliss Enterprises, Ltd.
