From what I understand the Flaems left prior to the confrontation between the Followers of Air and the Followers of Fire. Were those groups both True Alphatians? What about the Flaems? And what did the Cypri think of all this? Havard _________________________________________________________ Alt i én. Få Yahoo! AFAIK, the Flaems are what remains of the Followers of Fire -- hence their propension for Fire Elementalism, and for burning people, building, etc. Physically, they resemble the Cypri more than the True Alphatians: they have copper skin, but flame-red hair, rather than brown or darker hair as is common with most Cypri (a.k.a., Common Alphatians). True Alphatians (including Haldemar, Tarias of Arogansa, and Prince Volospin Aendyr and Emeth Urbaal in Glantri) are black-blue haired and pale-skinned, with a minimal blue cast. Historically, the True Alphatians were fewer, and mostly Followers of Air. Cypri were more common both among the Fire and Air faction -- indeed, most Alphatians today descend from the Followers of Air, but are mostly Common Alphatians. IIRC, extremisms among the Followers of Air initially caused Alphatia (before she reached Immortality) to found the second Alphatian kingdom (Haven) to keep the Cypri away from aggressive True Alphatians. Another mostly-Cypri nation is Ochalea. As to the nature of the two ethnic groups, it is IMO likely that both the True Alphatians and the Flaems have some (slight) genasi blood.
