In other books, they mention that the elemental planes have a complex diverse molecular structures that appear as fire, earth, air, and water. Yet, they are really complex and diverse, e.g. complex air molecules for instances. In space there's a void. I imagine that surrounding air worlds is a void, and there are air-suns, air-moons, and other satelites. Additionally, not all air molecules can be breatheable as well. I imagine that air elements and molecules have to have density, and gravity... Creating a bubble would contradict that, and thus contradict material where I get this from, the companion guide I think it was (green box set). __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? (WotI's sollution)". The concepts of big and small may or may not be applicable to other states of existance. This type of reality is formed from mass, density, gravity, time, etc. Basically stuff in our reality that we observe Now, if the elemental planes do follow similar rules (complex combination of air elements, states of matter, etc.), then there would be concept of big and small. If there is such a concept, they they follow the rules of density, mass, gravity, time, etc., in which there would be a vacuum of space. Breatheable air couldn't exist in a vacuum... As far as void ships, I know this is well, maybe borrowing other ideas, but I always imagined the air elementalists (now Alphatia) to have SpellJammer-like ships that create a bubble of air and gravity, and jam through space. I imagine the flaems more of portal jumpers, creating portals between places and dimensions for travel. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Suppose Old-Alphatia was actualy Domocles? So now several large chunks are floating around the asteroid belt, and it is just that area that has breathable air. Notice how we always mention it as Old-Alphatia and never as Alphatia, as there is no New-Alphatia. Hence their ancient homeworld of Domocles. _________________________________________________________________ Don’t just search. Find. This is what I have worked on so far (mind you its really rough, I worked on this while flying from Phoenix to San Jose last night). Return to Rahasia Background Changes Move the setting to Minrothad’s North Island. Siswa are a mystical order of “The Quiet Way”. A philosophy introduced by a Sindhian Samdu Wizard, named Elyas, that settled in Minrothad. The Quiet Way is older than the Ylari religion, and has commonalities and shared pilgrimages to each other. Rahasia’s clan is related to the Verdier (Water Elves). They have turned more inward than the rest of the clans, as they follow The Quiet Way and not the “Ocean Way”. They have a clan relic, an ancient Oltec artifact picked up when they migrated through the Savage Coast. Hulean priests claim this artifact was stolen from them by the elves. The artifact was stolen back by doppelgangers sent by Hule and returned to the elves by Al-Kalim. Because of this tie, Hule has adopted it’s kinship of the Ylari, and followers of Al-Kalim have adopted seeing the returned artifact as a focal point on one of many pilgrimages. Wilderness Surrounding the Kota-Hutan 1. Clan of Harpies. These harpies have had a long relationship with the elves, and their beginnings are associated with the three witch sisters. These harpies are also beautiful in appearance, a rarity among their kind. They do have a coven of witches, much like Glantri’s Secret Craft. 2. The Witches’ Dungeon. Before the three sisters discovered Eloyisis’s tower, this was there home. Plots within the Siswa • Doppelganger Assassins. Several doppelgangers became sympathetic to the Quiet Way, yet old habits are hard to break. These doppelgangers have infiltrated the Siswa and have become a secret society of assassin protectors to the clan. Spoiler - "Al Kalim" was really one of the doppelgangers. • Aranea from Herath have also infiltrated the ranks of the Siswa. Timeline of the Siswa 2300BC Alfasser Clan split from the Melydor to join Ilsundal while they move along the Savage Coast. 2250BC A small family of the new Alfasser Clan, leave Ilsundal and stay with the Mohesia. This family are the ancestors of the Siswa. 2100BC Alfasser and Alfund clans split again, half stay with Ilsundal to help build the Sylvan Realm, others move east and become the Vyalia. A small group of Alfasser become adventurous and steals an artifact from the Oltecs of pre-Hule. This chain of events is disastrous for the Mohesia, as they receive the repercussions from the Oltecs. These adventurous elves join the Siswa family and move west to the Herath nation with some remnant Mohesia. 1900BC The Siswa are now a clan, they become nervous and distrustful of their Herathi neighbors and move east to Sind. They learn from the Sindhai culture and begin to trade with their Meditor cousins. 1750BC The Meditor and Verdier clans contract a strange rotting disease. With the help of their Oltec artifact, Herathi magic, and the advanced medicines of the Sindhai, the Siswa are welcomed back into the ranks of the Verdier and Meditor. The Siswa become renowned as great healers, but at a great cost, many Siswa were introduced to the rotting plague and died before a cure was found. The Siswa are reduced to a small familial clan and settle on North Island. _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
