There's also an unnamed portal in Oenkmar, leading to either FR or GH. I only used Ravenloft once (a PC from my base campaign was sent there), but since I use Planescape (I was almost writing PS ;) ) as the base cosmology, the assumption is that they are all out there. Note that, on the other hand, there's no specific reason why the portals mentioned in my earlier post cannot lead to other worlds, so they can still be useful, even if the original destination is not used. > (Although I have borrowed and adapted material from one to the other.) I have a lot of real world stuff on Islam and the pre-Islamic cultures and I got the Al Qadim PDF a few months ago. I'm interested to know how you went about incorporating it into Mystara. Is that in the Vaults too? I guess one could assume Toril and Oerth are out there but that means I'd have to work out why Iuz and all the other favorite gods and demi-gods aren't active on Mystara. Why does Mystara have Immortals and not gods. Etc. Although this is probably answered for me somewhere. I think it has something to do with Mystara's cosmology being substantially different from that of the AD&D universe (or whatever they call it). Something to do with "crystal spheres" as I recall.
