I always thought that some Pandius pages could be wiki-ed, though, like the famous prodlist page, a la the D&D modules list on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Dungeons_%26_Dragons_modules ___________________________________________________________ Herve Musseau http://www.geocities.com/hmusseau/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I was Yes, there was a Mystaran wiki, though not related to Pandius. The problem was that the server was on one guy's PC -- not the best way to insure persistence of service. > I have a server, so let me know what you're feelings are about that. There's been some discussion on the MMB on this topic recently, BTW, which you may want to check -- also, there's one poster there who has some experience with wikis. As a side note, the issue of overwriting somebody's work in a wiki is a matter of editing policy, not of technical limitation -- i.e., it should be easy to configure a wiki so that editing rights are limited to identified users. Also, it would not be impossible to keep a changelog and restore documents when needed (I don't know whether/which specific wiki software support this, but it's technically easy). Not surprising. Inaccurate information in an open collaborative encyclopedia is most likely to be limited to actively hostile actions rather than ignorance or casual errors (since those are likely to be purged by extensive double-checking). OTOH, non-collaborative encyclopedia are only as accurate as their editors/writers.
