That makes sense. ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Jan 2006 05:28:28 -0800 From: Joaquin Menchaca Subject: Re: Sylvan Realm Oh, also, one of the Dragon King series of books had a description and cultural interaction with that area. I think you mean the Dragonlord Trilogy. They used the Rainbow bridge, an interdimensional nexus that was also once used by Mealiden's migration from the Sylvan Realm to the Known World. The Rainbow bridge is also featured in CM7. After years of searching for a copy of CM7, I was a bit disappointed with it when I finally got my hands on one. Other than a small map, it offers little information on that country (or what is left of it) or even its exact location on Brun. It is more useful to look at the migration map and Feadiel entry from the Alfheim Gaz to find out more about the country. With things the way they were left off in the official books, I've wondered why they never looked at it as a solution (or part of one) for the Shadow Elf. I know I know, no one likes to be moved from their homes. Here's an elfish land though that is 50-90% free because of what happened, resettling would be some work, but doable ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Jan 2006 11:44:46 -0400 From: Steven Carter Subject: Re: Sylvan Realm It all depends on when CM7 occurred in the canon timeline. Besides, you've probably heard that the president of Iran suggests the Israelis should just move to Europe. Emotions and religious issues would make that kind of solution impossible. Hence the forced emigration by the Alfheimers.
