Moreover you must be able to control animals, in some way, and you must explain why you have some animals with you, and if they are pets it means that they can risk their life in the mission and so on. And you must also think about the reaction of an animal that feels suddenly dumb! They will be very difficult to control, even if you have a druid. And would a druid treat an animal in that way? Well, surely not to help some greedy adventurers in a dungeon to find money or magical items. Instead, to cast silence on a casual number of dungeon monsters like oozes and jellys, that don't need to HEAR in order to sustain themselves... Anyway, it's just one of thousands of interesting RPG possibilities that sprout out in the game. I love this, and thank you for sharing!
