The only differences is that the Outer Plane in > which this adventure takes place is its own plane, rather than > one of the layers of the Abyss. ?? Why would it not be in the Abyss? GAZ3 mentions the Abyss, and there are plenty of Mystara adventures with demons. Granted, the Abyss doesn't have to be a stack of 666 layers, it could just be a collection of outer planes. But IM3 also featured a stack of outer planes in some ways similar to how the Abyss is stacked in generic OP D&D. ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 May 2007 13:04:55 +0200 From: Marco Fossati Subject: Mystara's Dragons Hi, How many "canon" dragons are detailed in Mystara? Several, there's an article on Dragon Magazine that details the dragon rulers of the Known World. A list can be found here: http://pandius.com/dragons2.html > Do dragons live also in the Hollow World? AFAIK, only some ancestor races live in the HW -- I can't remember modern dragons in the HW. I was trying to think of a Mystara dragon that should have made the top 10 list of Dragon Magazine, and it definitely should have been Synn. She far more deserved to be there than albino gecko lizard from Sunless Citadel. I don't recall a single dragon in the Hollow World, but they could be there. There were plenty of dragons in D&D modules, the nastiest and biggest fully statted ones were in those old CM and M(Master) modules. Indeed, some named dragons missing from the list in http://www.pandius.com/dragons2.html are a Blue named Dominagon in Five Coins for a Kingdom, a Blue named Korbundar in CM2, a Red named Incendiarious in CM3 and a Red whose name I don't remember in CM1.
