Yesterday however I chanced to duck into Strange Adventures, the best little comic store I've yet been in. Therein I chanced upon a $1 back issue sale. $1 each for good to very good condition comics and magazines (including the usual 14% federal/provincial sales tax added). Issue #27 of Dungeon magazine (from 1991) included a small Expert-level adventure called 'Tarfil's Tomb'. Set in Karameikos and involving a Halav-era warrior's tomb, visions and Chaotic clerics seeking to raise a veritable Army of Darkness (TM). ;) Anyone else have more information on this little gem? Is the original author lurking on the list? If so good job! ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 16 Sep 2007 16:52:57 -0400 From: Joe Mason Subject: Re: Little Treasure Unearthed That reminds me - Grey Region in Toronto (on Yonge Street) has a ton of out-of-print games, including quite a few Mystara adventures. I'm in Halifax right now but my base of operations is near the corner of Bloor and Yonge. I know I'll be there the end of October for certain. If I'm lucky and wrap up business here soon then in just a couple of weeks. The Strange Adventures I mentioned is the Halifax location of course at 5262 Sackville Street. A two- or three- block section of Yonge has several great game and comic shops: Grey Region, the Hairy Tarantula, 10000 Comics, and I think possibly one other whose name I forget. (Lots of people will swear by the Silver Snail, which is on Queen Street, but I find it overpriced.) ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 16 Sep 2007 18:36:00 -0300 From: Steven Carter Subject: Re: Little Treasure Unearthed Good to know.
