Just a sampling of some 4e-ifications in mind: Hounds of the Iron Ring are minions Kartoeba is a solo monster Goblins from the 4 tribes will not be stats identical but have different tribe-specific powers Loshad will not simply promise to tell the party where Xitaqa if they fulfill his conditions; it will be a social encounter skill challenge where they have to determine what would convince him, e.g. using History and/or Nature to suss out that he wants the werewolves killed. --David > Date: Thu, 29 May 2008 10:18:39 -0500 > From: Web Warlock > Subject: D&D 4th Ed and Mystara > > Wow this list has gotten very active in the last few days. ;) > > Anyway I have been reading quite a bit on the new 4th Ed D&D. > And I can't help notice a lot of parallels between it and the classic > "Basic" D&D. > > The most notable to me is that new books have the same sort of "feel" to > them and the D&D Rules Cyclopedia. But I'm planning on doing some conversions - I think the old modules will fit the style pretty well. We've set up a Mystara4E Google Group (http://groups.google.com/group/mystara4e?lnk=sg) for talking about things like this. (Perfectly on-topic for this list too, but you might appreciate a more focused group.)
