If it is done, I'd recommend using Dokuwiki (it's what I'm currently using for my work website: http://home.dei.polimi.it/agosta ) or another wiki system that uses file system storage rather than a database (it's easier to handle the source files, and especially to make backups and local mirrors). I'll put up a generic theme, and make a custom one if I have time. I never really figured out how to make a good front page for a wiki. Some typical formats (with examples): 1) Wikipedia style (Wikipedia and many Wikia wikis): news, featured articles/pictures/whatever, categories listing, did you know, calendar; 2) Simple layout (Ubuntu, Debian, Ruby on Rails and many other technical wikis): plain listing of topics; 3) Original wiki wiki web: presentation page with summary of contents, and a short topics list; 4) Mix of 1 and 2 (e.g., Gentoo, the D&D wiki at Wikia): large topic listing with a few features or news boxes. I suppose a good front page in our case should include: - links to the MML and the (new) MMB, and possibly to language-specific forums (IIRC, there are at least a Brazilian and a French mailing list, and the Italian MMB) - links to relevant Mystara websites (VoP and others) - a list of topic categories - a link to a page with basic info about the setting When/if there is enough content, elements from the Wikipedia style could be used (e.g. a featured nation/article/map box or an events on this day box).
