A message board where most of the Mystara community from the WotC message boards moved after WotC merged all "Other Worlds" boards into a single (unusable) one. Do you guys remember a thread in which we discussed relating Korezsgy (I don't think I know how to write it) Keep and some creepy places in Glantri to Ravenloft? Well, I just got a 3.5ed book meant for players that cites a zillion of sources, but is - more or less - the "Manual of the Planes" for that version. Reading it made me want to really send people for short adventures in Ansalon (Dragonlance) and Ravenloft. One of the adventures in "First Quest" ("Ghost of Harrow Hill") made me find a very cool link between that part of the campaing (WotI, advancing them from the Prologue to the middle part of the campaign i.e. Hollow World). The manor is spooky, has - duh! - a ghost and a very good taste of horror, like a B movie. All that said, who among you would like to tease with the idea of going to and fro planes? Why would players travel, how, where, what kind of planes and its inhabitants etc? -- ---------------------- Vini, 10th-level wild mage, Bach enthusiast, solar "raycer" ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 18 Jul 2008 22:02:57 +0200 From: Giampaolo Agosta Subject: Re: Mystara and other worlds (planar travelling etc) 2008/7/18 Vinicius Rodrigues de Moraes (USP Solar Team) : > > All that said, who among you would like to tease with the idea of going to > and fro planes? The Inner Planes are especially appropriate for a Mystaran campaign: Elementalists from Glantri or Alphatia would have reason to travel there to discover secrets of planar magic, deal with geniekind or elementals or recover elemental artifacts. I'd like to link every of the forces in Mystara (Entropy etc) to a plane. Much like you did. Then we can link people - and Immortals - of each force to a plane. Just like the fellas in "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" entered by a volcano and came back out by another, people from Entropy might enter Ravenloft from say Korezsgy and come back from there (what is of course far from normal stuff) to Glantri. -- ---------------------- Vini, 10th-level wild mage, Bach enthusiast, solar "raycer" On 7/18/08, Giampaolo Agosta wrote: > > 2008/7/18 Vinicius Rodrigues de Moraes (USP Solar Team) < > vinimagus@gmail.com>: > > > > > All that said, who among you would like to tease with the idea of going > to > > and fro planes?
