The basic premise was from the northern reaches Gaz. There was a witch in a bog somewhere in the middle of Sodderfjord, near the gnollheim hills i think, who abducted the son of a local Jarl for sacrifice to Hel, she had a gate to Niffelheim, which is the plane where Hel has her domain. It's a frozen tundra, populated by giants, trolls, gnolls etc.. there is a river called vergilmere, whose water is poisonus, yet a second sip brings back to life. There is a tunnel that leads down to Hels dominion which is guarded by Garmr a three headed immortal hound, then a river of blades to cross, then a dome of snakes, once inside the dome you are in Hels home. All as farn as I can remember, can't remember whether all this info was in the Gaz or fleshed out from other sources. I know the adventure was based on an outline in the Gaz. Spellings of names may not be exact either. Maybe somebody with ready access to Northern reaches Gaz can find out for you, or if not and you can wait I might be able to dig it out over the next few days. All this cool info coming from your mind w/o reading any books. It seems very exciting! And also a good starting point to this planar adventuring I'm planning. Whenever you can send more info, it will be higly appreciated. Cheers and thx! The following link may be of use if you wish to flesh out any nordic elements of the cosmology. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niflheim and of course there is information of use on the vaults. http://pandius.com/niflheim.html Jason. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vinicius Rodrigues de Moraes (USP Solar Team)" To: Sent: Wednesday, July 23, 2008 7:02 PM Subject: Re: [MYSTARA] Mystara and other worlds (planar travelling etc) > REALLY precious!
