It's nice to hear about someone playing using the Immortal rules. I always wanted to try them out myself. The spell description says that it allows you to give a mortal a single point increase to any ability score, or a permanent ability based on the spell effect of any 1st to 7th level magical spell. It doesn't mention clerical spells, but 1st to 5th or 6th level spells would probably be okay too. Based on this, any effect that you can approximate to a spell level should be fine. The more obvious ones are things like Infravision, Detect Magic, Protection from Evil, and so on. But perhaps it could be used with instantaneous spells such as Dimension Door, Teleport, Fireball, Magic Missile and so on too, granting the mortal the ability to use it once a day/week/month. When it comes down to it, the Immortal is spending 5 PP on this ability, which is not an insignificant amount of power. The effect should be pretty amazing, although not overpowering. ANd about what you said - i can give the ability to cast "fire ball" once a week/month/day i am more into the "some kind of great super healing to himself once a day" - is it posible - and how mach you think it cost- i am trying to understand the limts of this power - so if i can make stronger things with same amount of TP i woulf like to do that. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Thorfinn Tait" To: Sent: Friday, October 17, 2008 10:22 PM Subject: Re: [MYSTARA] Powers which can be given to Mortal by Immortlas > Interesting topic! So by Spending 5PP you could grant a character an increase in the type of dice he uses to determine HP (d4 to d6, d6 to d8, d8 to d10). In a message dated 10/17/2008 9:22:31 P.M.
