A good way to use modules set in Egypt style settings is to set them in Tho= tia, which has pharaohs and pyramids! Hule is based on Turkey/Ottoman Empire, from both the point of view of language and of ethnic makeup. It doesn't have much in the way of Arabic or Egyptian feel. Ylaruam is definitely M-Arabic, with plenty of variation among the different Emirates (Ylaruam itself mirrors Baghdad under Harun al Rashid, Abbashan mirrors typical desert dwelling peoples, Makistan covers the Islamized turkic nations of central Asia, Nicostenia mirrors the mediterranean areas of the Arab empire, like Spain and North Africa, and Nithia mirrors Egypt). M-Egypt is definitely Nithia, but it is only Egyptian before 1500 AC (when Ylaruam doesn't exist yet), or in the Hollow World. What do you need exactly, though? (I'm not familiar with the setting of the Pathfinder modules) GP ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. =0A=0A=0A ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ End of MYSTARA-L Digest - 1 Aug 2009 to 2 Aug 2009 (#2009-38) *************************************************************
