Here are some more snippets (I can send more if you need t= hem):>> I have to admit I was a bit dubious about the spider tie-in in the Talons module. For a couple of reasons: - Being a longtime AD&D player, as soon as someone mentions "spider queen" it triggers visions of Lolth. Just can't help the association.. - More to this point, Mystara already has a spider Immortal, Korotiku as well as the aranea. Adding more unrelated spider themes seemed a bit gratuitous. - Given the Thothians are an Egyptian-inspired culture, there are no major spider themes or deities in the Egyptian pantheon. If I were to run the module and/or do up some Thothian/Nithian stuff, I'd probably just file off the serial numbers from all the spider business and either replace with a scorpion theme or go with something more unique like a beetle theme (since the dung beetle was a common Egyptian symbol, rolling the sun across the sky like a dung ball). Just a thought..
