I will run TC1 "Into the Haunted Forest" to be set around Black Eagle Barony. Players will have to race against another PC party composed of heroes from Black Eagle Barony around Luln. Another one, a free downloadable module called D0 "Hollow's Last Hope" is where players come across a disease spreading in the town, and have to fetch ingredients for a herbalist recipee that could cure the disease. I would place this in the mountainous region west. The town would be Traladarans escaping abuse from Thyatians. The players would visit this town to (1) seek out rumors about a witch, (2) explore ruins of ancient dwarven clan before Stronghollow, (3) check status of ministrations by Church of Karameikos, etc. This continues to D1 "Crown of the Kobold King", which is absolutely hilarious. The kobolds abduct children wanting to sacrifice them as a way to turn around their misfortunes, while a werewolf child seeks to eat the children, but the kobolds got in the way of her plots. In the mean time, she (werewolf child) chums up with clerics or paladins and feigns curiosity about the religion, and tries to grow on the PCs. I was considering ripping this one out and placing it as a side adventure to B1, where the PCs encounter kobolds, but now I am thinking of doing a treasure map thing, which will bring the players out towards this remote location. There's even another part called Revenge of the D1.5 Kobold King, where some undead creature raises him from the dead as a twisted joke, and helps him get revenge on the PCs. ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Sep 2009 07:30:57 -0700 From: Joaquin Menchaca Subject: Current Project (Karameikan d20 Races) As apart of this, I was thinking of updating my material for Karameikos. I will update it to DnD3.6e, streamline it, and release it as text write-up and more professional quality PDF. I will write up the standard races, using canon material with a small ad-mix of my own (especially due to lack of info from canon material), and have an expanded section for more exotic additions I created (Dinarii, Linarii, Selenii). I might do w third section for house rules, such as racial classes (using rules from unearthed arcana), spell resistance for dwarves, racial skills, etc. As I work out material, I'll post it here to get feed back and opinions. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Sep 2009 17:29:50 -0700 From: Joaquin Menchaca Subject: Introduction to Falcon's Hollow I was working with the introduction, and tailored this to whatever backgrou= nd that fits the player character.=0A--------------------------------------= ---------------------------=0ATHYATIAN INTRODUCTION:=0A=0AThe ramshackle to= wn of Falcon's Hollow rests perilously close to the infamous Darkmoon Vale.= The jagged shadow of the nearby mountain casts a shroud of gloom on the o= utcasts who call this place home.
