The Alphatians are not notably elf haters (just look at Shiye-Lawr) answer: This has nothing to do with Alphatians vs. Vyalia. It is what about Vyalia if Thyatis vs. Karameikos. Karameikos invites in help from Alphatia sets them against Thyatis. Because half of Vyalian lands is within what is demarcated for Karameikos, and other half is a county within Thyatis, this causes an issues about sovereign rights of Vyalian elves. The more friction that happens with Thyatis vs. Karameikos, spells problems for Vyalia who never had to deal with the issue. This can set Vyalia against Karameikos or Thyatis. Also both Thyatis and Karameikos could use Vyalia as a tool for their own political intrigue. Examples: Thyatis for the benefit of Vyalia, could claim territory out of Karameikos, and likewise, Karameikos could claim territory in Thyatis if they get Vyalia to side with Karameikos. ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ End of MYSTARA-L Digest - 4 Oct 2009 to 5 Oct 2009 (#2009-65) *************************************************************
