Interesting, but then what about the one's that are only partially garbled? Is there a third encoding at work in those messages? And why are some messages in utf-8 and others in ascii text from the same senders? I doubt that folks are going in and fiddling with their settings in-between messages. I'm half tempted to give up on the digest format and switch to regular - with gmail's "threaded" view, it might be managable. ******************************************************************** The Other Worlds Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/OtherWorlds.asp The Mystara Homepage: http://www.pandius.com To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM with UNSUB MYSTARA-L in the body of the message. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 3 Jul 2011 01:46:08 -0700 From: Greg Weatherup Subject: Re: Meaning of Mystara in Arabic & Ylaruam Giampaolo Agosta wrote: > > Greg Weatherup wrote: >> >> Will the MML accept non-latin characters? >> >> Here's a test- >> >> Dinar written in Arabic script should appear below this line: >> >> =D8=AF=D9=8A=D9=86=D8=A7=D8=B1 >> >> Dinar written in Arabic script should of appeared above this line. > > > > It works, but will probably be lost in the digest... > > G. Sure enough, the copy of my message in the digest had that line all garbled, but yet the copy you quoted came through fine. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 3 Jul 2011 01:50:36 -0700 From: Greg Weatherup Subject: Re: Thank god it was saved (Glantrian Page!) >> >> Where?
