It mostly runs like 3.5 d&d if you are familiar with that. The biggest proble with retero-enginering one back to old D&D would be things like skill and poison DCs, and some of the more complicated specialised classes (alchemist etc) Resource-wise, you can find most of the rules at http://paizo.com/prd/ and pretty much everything at http://www.d20pfsrd.com/ there is also a basic encyclopedia of the setting at http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Pathfinder_Wiki and if you go to http://paizo.com/paizo there are oodles of fora discussing adventures and all the usual stuff personally I own most of the stuff they have published, use the wiki to remind myself of which book things come from, use the d20pfsrd for brousing through stats, and the paizo prd for getting the proper game text/format. The only part of their product line I'd not recommend is their organised play set of adventures, which I find weak. I couple of highlights Mystara-wise - Andoran is like Darokin, Razimir is pretty cool for Shepherds of Rad, and Osirion and Qadira are pretty similar to Ylaruam. The entire campaign setting has the same sort of - heroes eventually become immortals feel to it. Oh, and Numenera is like Blackmoor. If you have the Rules Cycopedia and Creature Catalogue, you should be able to mock up most of their more specialised monsters. hope that helps Jon On 26 October 2013 19:32, Gman wrote: > > I think if you were willing to back up current Mystara timeline to just > > prior to Stefan Karameikos trading for Traldar, you could easily run the > > Kingmaker adventure path.
