Hello,

Seems that my Blackmoor group will go planewalking in the end...

Can you please name me some resources where I can read about the Plane of Shadows?
I want to use the *City of Lanterns* from ... errh, forgot, which Dragon issue it was, there and would like to flesh out the scenario a bit more...

Thank you in advance,

Rafael

The most up-to-date source on the Plane of Shadows is the 3e Manual of the Planes.

Dragon #322 on City of Lanterns, Erebus, etc.

FR books has some stuffs on City of Shade, which has returned from shadow plane... but the shades may still have an outpost in the plane, or depending on your timeline, they may still not have returned to Faerun yet.

The illumians also have a stronghold in the plane of shadow, IIRC. See Races of Destiny.

Very nice info and links, thank you all!

Now I know where to start looking for inspiration; since the City of Lantern will be *set* as an integral part of the campaign, I am halfway from a good game!

:D

Thanks, again!

No one mentioned the Guide to the Ethereal Plane, but that book has some info on the Shadow demiplane that was turned into a full fledged plane in 3e.

Splendid! I actually own that book! With Dragon 322, the web enhancements, and that book I should have a lot more info that I can actually use!

Thank you!

Balefire is soooooo the setting of my next Campaign! By far one of the best Dragon articles in years.

I just wonder how it'll be fun to combine it with the VRG: Shadow Elves from Ravenloft...
