I was thinking about developing a faction based on the idea of becoming the Ultimate Power in the UniverseTM. Overthrowing the powers, conquering all worlds, and that. It seems like an interesting sect and I was curious how the other factions would relate.

Just make sure to stand 5 feet distant...the stains ain't pretty and The Lady ain't all that careful bout where she points all those Subtle Knives.

heh, okay good natured sarcasam aside, that's not really what the factions are about, those are the ultimate goals of many of their members (Dustmen and Bleakers not withstanding, but there might espescially evangelical exceptions within those ranks who might want to spread their ethos a little too far) but not any faction on the whole. All the factions are about The Truth* some of them think that becoming omnipotent could be what The Truth* is about (Believers in the Source and Fated most particularly), but that's of sub-importance to the truth inherint in their philosophies. These philosophies being that if you can get it you deserve to have it, and that everything is a test to get into a higher form (Fated & Believers in the Source respectively)

*all instances of The Truth may be found by hitting the link to my Blog site. All else is illusion. Please have a sip of the kool-aid as you drop by

Post thought- The Anarchists kinda want to do this, but they're split down the middle on who actually controls the multiverse once everythings torn down. Some say pure anarchy, the others that the Anarchists themselves should rule.

My planar history is a bit hazy, but isn't that pretty much what the Expansionists were up to a turn or two back?

See the Mimir's article on the Expansionists.
