In my upcoming campaign I was going to have the PCs face the followers of 4 gods...4 gods who's profile/domains would match that of the 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse (Death, Famine, War, Pestilence)

So far I have Nerull (Death), Incabulos (Famine), and Typhos (War...from Complete Adventurer).

I don't want to use the same god twice. If there isn't a lawful or neutral god to use to cover pestilence is there anyone else I could use? (I was thinking Wee Jas).

Also the followers (or those the PCs will face that are followers) are all human and xenophobic and look down upon other races.

Would the Deathbound and Undeath domains (in Libris Mortis) apply to Nerull at all in your opinion?

thanks

Incabulos is almost synonymous with pestilence - there is really no better choice. Incabulos is the god of both famine and plague.

If you must have a seperate god for pestilence, perhaps Squerrik, god of wererats, would work. The Ghostwalk setting has a god named Khostren, god of plague, stench, and vermin. The Kingdoms of Kalamar setting has a god named Rotlord, god of sickness, epidemics, disease, plague, and vermin. The orcish god Yurtrus is also a god of death, disease, and plague. I suppose you might also use Anthraxus, the former Oinoloth.

Definitely not Wee Jas.

As for war, Hextor seems the best option, and Nerull the best for death.

Would the Deathbound and Undeath domains (in Libris Mortis) apply to Nerull at all in your opinion?

I don't know anything about the Deathbound domain, but Undeath most certainly.

Well I like Hextor, but I don't like the favored weapon and wanted a god who looked like had more human worshipers than any other race...hence Typhos as the god of war.

I may use Wee Jas as a god of death instead of Nerull. Wee Jas has ties to the Suel, as does Neurll which I plan to make use of in the campaign.

Nerull would then become the god of pestilence. Being the hater of life this feels like a good choice.

Looking back on Defenders of the Faith there was a Prestige Domain for Pestilence in there. Seeing as how there are no more Prestige Domains (and Pestilence gave access to it for those who worshiped Nerull or Wee Jas) in 3.5 I figured it could work as a regular domain.

Er.. but Hextor's followers are (mostly) humans. He has a few half-orc worshippers and rare members of other races, but that's all. Remember, at his most basic, he was the Oeridian's god of war.

Yeah I just noticed that a few minutes ago when looking at the LG deity list (although my game isn't going to be a LG game...just a regular game in the realm of Greyhawk).

I just really don't like the use of the flail as a favored weapon when Hextor appears as a six-armed...thing...with a different weapon in each hand. I'm I'm correct Hextor uses the following weapons in battle:
Longsword
Battleaxe
Flail
Pick, Heavy
Mace, Heavy
Scimitar

...is this right? I don't have Deities and Demigods.

I also found the Pestilence Domain in the Complete Divine (duhh... :D ) so now I have that domain squared away.

I'm still tweaking. So the gods I use still may change.

Ok I have my gods for my campaign picked out now.

Hextor (for War)
Incabulos (for Famine)
Kyuss (for Pestilence)
Nerull (for Death)

I might change the favored weapons for Hextor so one can pick one of the six weapons Hextor wields into combat or something as such. Haven't quite hammered that out yet.
