Just read the preview of Stormwrack in the previews section (where else...).

What does it mean for SJ?

Will some of it be taken on board for the 3.x effort?

No idea; I've not yet picked it up. I might, but I've been on other stuff (need to get the will together to finish my MotM this month! Ack! ) and I'll look into it later

Stormwrack has excellent 3.5 material for the spelljamming setting.

Smokepowder ...
Bombards....
A few spells ... Detect Ships and Disquise Ship
3.5 version of the Hadozee
and a fairly decent Narative Ship Combat System ...

While most of these rules would only cover 10-12 pages worth of material, and that not so bad!

With the release of Sandstorm (desert), Frostfire (artic) and Stormwrack (sea) ... I would NOT be surprised if we see Spelljammer (space) in the 2006 lineup.

Half of the setting is ship-to-ship combat which is quite different from regular dnd combat and designing it for official dnd35 would take a lot of professional work. The other half is flavor which you can already find in 2e books

I would...I think they've wrapped up the environment sourcebooks.

LOL...well, I am a realist We can still hope, but I think they're done with the env series.

We all know that's not how it works...

The Environments series, if still commercially viable, will get attention from WotC...there's probably another one or two products there...

Still, if Stormwrack did end up OGL, what an opportunity!
