Hello everyone! Dakken here
I am looking for people who have either Dark Sun or Dragonlance games in Minnesota.
I am a long time player of both worlds, and I used to also play GURPS, Shadowrun, and reg. D&D.
I have been playing DS on-line with a group, but it does not really satisfy my need to have dice in one hand and a cold Coke in the other, so I thought I would post something on these boards and ask around.
BTW- while I have read the novels on DS and some of the core rule books, I am looking for new information. I know about athas.org and have that material, but I was hoping that you guys would be able to point me in the direction of some good threads that have setting material and stuff. I thought there was a search function on the message board!

Oh, about 7 1/2 hours north-west. Do you know where Detroit Lakes is? I am about an hour north of there. Ya I live in the boonies, which is why I am the greatest player around these parts:D

Hey! I seen your post and wanted to let you know that I live in Minnasota too. I live on Central Ave in Wauben which is not that far from Naytahwaush. You should PM me and maybe we could set something up. My gaming group is just finishing up with Whispers in the Storm and I play on running a homebrew adventure next. I have 4 players now but I am always on the look out to add another to the group give it a little more balance- 4 PC has never been very popular with me because it forces the group to multiclass more or forces someone to play a character that they really don't care for (mainly the cleric due to the fact that everyone is always begging to get healed and they just become a walking healing machine).

Hey, I just had this no-joke idea, serious here...

What if athasians from the cities, instead of saying "a match made in heaven", say "a match made in the arena"?
Citizens are overconscious of the arena, its in their weekly lives, and everyone likes gladiatorial matched pairs, so it comes to mind this would be somehting they'd say when two great things hook up.

Never thought of that. Sounds good to me though.
