Right, well. Since we now have quite a few DnD minies (and others) available, it's time for an SJ minies list, as is happening on the other Other Worlds boards.

A whole lotta the Mages, Clerics...etc. are appropriate for Helmsmen; men-at-arms, commoners...etc. for crewmen prepared for boarding/maybe marines; The Dwarves, and Elves are no-brainers for IEN and Dwarf crewmen (maybe IEN Marines...Arcane Archer...etc.); Humanoid (i.e.orcs...etc.) minies work as themselves, and some (1/2) Orc miniatures could stand in for Scro; The Illithids are...well...themselves; Minies w/ x-bows, if the cross-piece is cut off, and if a barrel is made by painting mettalic, can work as holding guns;

That should hold things...

Is this a list of what you would like to see WotC release for use in Spelljammer campaigns, or what to use as Spelljammer minis from existing resources?

I have several thoughts on both.

Some of the non-weapon wielding SW minis work with this. I've been thinking about dropping a few (along with a number of D&D minis) into my SJ campaigns for a while now.

Of particular note are the alien races minis that could double as creatures in SJ -- the yuzzem especially.

It is a list of those that are already there that can be used...

We did ship deckplans on cardboard...until the game fell apart after two stupid decisions whilst DMing on my part...

They have ship counters...you just have to look around on BtM.

Also, it appears someone (it mighta been Nightdruid) built a squidship...in 1:60.

Nope, not me. I forget who did it, but IIRC it was a battle barge.

My appologies... I had thought it was on your site...my bad. :embarrass

I had done a bunch of Scro and IEN as DnD Minies Statcards...may post them and a few other things so people can run SJ as a regular battlegame... :D
