With all the talk of new places to flesh out like Ogo or Gulg, it seems a couple other City-States are quite underdeveloped even up to this point in time.

Balic - almost nothing has been printed about this city that was home to Andropinis.

Raam - Sure there is a map or 2 running around but not much other than that.

Urik - It seems that there is quite a bit around the periphery about this city but not much direct information about culture and history outside of RaFoaDK or a couple modules.

It seems to me that before we go and expand the setting it might be useful to flesh out the rest of the Tablelands first.

Just a thought and if there is information about these places I've missed then please lead the way

Balic - almost nothing has been printed about this city that was home to Andropinis.

There used to be a site that had some extensive work done on Balic.

Raam - Sure there is a map or 2 running around but not much other than that.

Urik - It seems that there is quite a bit around the periphery about this city but not much direct information about culture and history outside of RaFoaDK or a couple modules.

There used to also be someone who was working on Urik, but that seemed to die off. I have the map that was made as part of the project on my site currently.

It seems to me that before we go and expand the setting it might be useful to flesh out the rest of the Tablelands first.

Unfortunately, I don't remember where Balic and Urik's write-ups were at, I'm sure that Grummore has it on his site's links (possibly).

Speaking of Balic:

That site is still up though I can't remember the adress, I do know that there is a link to it on the Crimsonsun.org page, if that site is still up.

Scott's extensive Balic website is here.
You will find additional details on Raam in the Dregoth Ascending adventures, available for download at athas.org.

Wow! I expected "some site", the last update probably done in the last millenium, with moderately interesting stuff.
Man, was I wrong. Why did no one mention this cool site before???

Come on Elonarc! Did you ever open all the web sites from my list (At least those listed in 3.5)? It's been listed on my web page for age now ! Well, as I said, for about 2 to 3 weeks, my site will be down. Should be back in the end of september.

I have a old list here : yeah, here

Thanks for all the assistance everyone. It seems the crimsonsun site is indeed non-op. Either its moved or is just plain no longer available. Scott's site is a tremedous boon. I stand corrected about there not being anything printed about Balic.

Though DA is a great start for info on Raam, its still incomplete. I'm not saying I need a work like The Ivory Triangle to call it complete, but I would like to see some culture, history, perhaps some details on Abalech-Re and her templars and nobility before the Age of Heroes.

And of course, Urik still needs some help. That map that Xlorp has is great except there is no key available (I remember on another thread he was gonna get to that when he got a chance so no hurry, hehe). It also makes me wonder if that is the only map of the city running around. I'm not quite sure its dimensions are acurate considering all the clues garnered from the literature.

Eventually it is my plan to work on Urik as a pet project but who knows how long that will take. It might be quicker to watch a tree grow in the backyard.

crimsonsun.org was Nytcrawlr's site, and yes it is down. I don't believe he has many plans for bringing it back up any time soon.

DA part 1 gave Gab and me an opportunity to develop Raam on an overview level, which we felt was required for the adventure. There is some cultural information in the Veiled Alliance accessory, though Raam could definitely see further development. Since the foundation is in place, Raam is - in my opinion - probably the most likely citystate to be further developed next.

I didn't mean to make it sound like people's contributions weren't good enough, just stating my observations on the matter...just in case someone took it that way

I've actually been, slowly but surely, going through the information on Scott's Balic sight and helping him to correct the info there, so as to fit with the official products. Dawnstealer and I had been talking back and forth about him including some art, and more importantly an awesome looking map (not sure if he's still interested though). In this way we're preparing to compile it in a City-State of Balic format. Hopefully, when this is done it will be "officially" recognized.

I've also been working to do the same with Urik, compiling all the official material along with some ideas of my own. Still have a ways to go on this though.
