#1zombiegleemaxSep 20, 2005 6:02:09 | I found this on my computer. I made it awhile ago and I can't remember exactly how I decided on the build. Could some people take a look at it and give some comments? Skills are missing. 3. The class abilities are WAY too powerful. Good BAB + Paladin abilities, but no spells, mount and cure disease. OK. But you make up for by giving the class -the Templar's secular authority and -the Rogue's sneak attack and -the Barbarian's damage reduction and -spell resistance and -psionic resistance Notice something wrong? I do. The class is seriously overpowered. Munchkin-size overpowered. |
#3zombiegleemaxSep 20, 2005 7:29:40 | any suggestions? like i said, i found this on my computer while going through old files and i don't even remember making it, so it's probably at least a year and a half old maybe. i dunno. it's also incomplete, as no skills show. i think all i did really was take a paladin, remove the spells and mount and stuff and try to add in some blackguard, and then lose interest and leave it incomplete in a folder titled "random stuff" . . . which is the place i dump random things i don't feel like dealing with at the moment. i was cleaning out old files and "dealing with" some of them finally, and came across this. so . . . I dunno, maybe I should just dump the idea entirely |
#4kalthandrixSep 20, 2005 8:29:03 | It looks pretty cool and kinda simular to Xlore's Athasian Paladin. If you have time, I would like to see the completed write up of this class- It could also be something that could be converted into a PrC instead of a core class if your were so inclined. |
#5xlorepdarkhelm_dupSep 20, 2005 8:33:45 | That reminds me, I have to retrofit my paladin write-up, I've made some changes, fusing in some of the features of the Marshal class from the Miniatures Handbook, while removing some of the redundancy of the Paladin's abilities. |
